A psychologist at a College in London studied 1,000 adults and concluded that heavy text messaging and emailing caused impaired mental abilities even more than smoking marijuana. The psychologist alleged that the reduction was equivalent to 10 IQ points, and referred to the obsessions as ""info mania."" YOU CAN set time limits for yourself; turn your phone off during certain times of the day. Give yourself specific times to check and/or reply to your messages, and set alarms for yourself.
