Author Information

Linda grew up in an Air Force family, moving throughout the United States and Europe during her childhood. A first-generation American on her father's side and third-generation on her mother's, she credits her Welsh paternal grandmother for passing down her love of poetry. She began writing haiku as a young girl, drawn to the way its simplicity encouraged her to distill a moment to its essence. Over time, her writing expanded into longer poems celebrating family, friendship, and the subjects closest to her heart. Her work was first published in 2009. Recently retired after a 40-year career in the high-tech industry working alongside her husband, Bill, Linda now divides her time between two homes she loves: a hobby farm on the Tuolumne River in California and a log cabin on the Grand Mesa in Colorado. She and Bill raised two daughters, now grown and married, and are the proud grandparents of five grandsons.
