Lesa Brand is a native Nebraskan, born in Omaha and raised in Grand Island. She taught in public schools for 26 years, where she put her PhD in education and a focus in qualitative methods to great use.She now lives in the Kansas City area where she instructs and works with educational doctoral students. Her three grown sons and their families, which includes seven grandchildren, provide fodder for making the world a better place.
