Hell No, You Can't! examines the causes of political extremism in governments-national, local, or foreign as well as the causes of extreme behaviors of tyrants, suicide bombers, etc., using the welfare of our species as the benchmark. Targeted are political parties, castes, education, the role of the Constitution, the causes of a dysfunctional Congress along with the needs and effects of groups such as conservatives, right-wingers, liberals, the Tea Party, Democrats and Republicans, etc. Hell No! also examines how extremists are created (even in elementary schools!), the needs of groups, the effects of belief and religions, and the nature and misuse of language supported by tenets blended from neuroanatomy, philosophy, psychology (group and individual), logic, physics, natural theology (absent books), and the nature of mature/immature operational (cognitive) development. Understanding man's Primary Directive-his need for the continual acquisition, maintenance, and validation of his in-time IDentity along with his behavioral needs and aberrations, directs us to methods of combat--remedies and techniques which could expose and defeat the positions of extremists who would harm any of us, anywhere, for personal gain.

Herb Altman has held the titles of Supervisor, Director, Counselor, Group Therapist, and Adjunct Professor. As teacher he has taught philosophy, psychology, English, Latin, Russian history, and American Government. He received his Ph.D. from U.C. Berkeley defining the nature of intelligence and the development of operational (cognitive) maturity. He and his wife Lora shuttle between Coral Springs, Florida and Arlington, Massachusetts.
