Overview

This new peek into the lives of the animals at Grayson Farm introduces us to Hector, a young black snake. He desperately wants a friend, but learns quickly that others do not like him simply because he is a snake. The themes of treating others well, regardless of how they look on the outside, and being brave and selfless in frightening situations will resonate with the young reader and parents alike. Hector the Misunderstood Snake is a charming and insightful tale featuring beautiful illustrations, delightful barnyard characters, and one kind and gentle snake.
