Heart to Heart

Overview

This beautifully written book guides us through the labyrinth of Val's soul, where she has, for many years, tenderly shared her heart with her Lord. As you read, you will feel her gifted way with words, naturally drawing you in. From one of the poems The hush speaks out No quiet there of other sounds God tiptoed in He seems at home And then I know, I am not alone. As you sit in these precious moments and reflect on Val's insights, you will feel the same Lord patiently waiting to speak to you, Heart to heart.

Reviews

I have known Val, a lovely Christian woman, for several years, and have always enjoyed her friendship and listening to her speak from her heart about God to women. As I read her book Heart to Heart, it felt like she was having conversations with the Lord, and as He revealed what He wanted her to know, she wanted to write it down as a poem. A very easy book to read, as we can relate to the different poems. They seem personal and answer questions we may be wondering about. A great Book, Lynda Hemmingson, NZ review (2) The thoughts, feelings and desires expressed in these poems are clearly and articulately crafted with words that are heartwarming to the reader. In different seasons of the journey, the reader whose heart is desperately hungering after God will find Him here. Thank you, Val. Thanks, Wantok.
