The book Heart Calls, Soul Answers gives the reader a guide to daily practice of communicating with one's Higher Self, or what the author refers to affectionately as the ""Divine Mother"" within. With the personal revelations you'll find in these pages, you'll see how easy it is to safely and successfully access intuitive inner guidance from what Paramhansa Yogananda, Swami Kriyananda, and others have often called ""Superconsciousness."" There is nothing secret, or mysterious, about intuition. Intuition is for everyone. It is our birthright. It is up to each person to open up to, and commune with, this Higher Self within. As a disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda since 1983, and a meditator for 40 years, Biraj Palmer takes the reader on a journey to share how he was able to grow spiritually from this simple daily communion. He is the author of one other book, The Intuitive Gardener: The Man Behind Ananda's Meditation Retreat Garden, (Blue Bone Books, Santa Cruz, 2020.) He shares a home with his wife Nayaswami Lahari Elizabeth, in the Ananda Community in Palo Alto, California.

Author Information

As a disciple of Yogananda since 1983, and a meditator for over 35 years, Biraj Palmer has been a member of the Ananda Church of Self-Realization, that was created by Swami Kriyananda in the late 1960's. Biraj has served the Ananda organization on two continents, and in more than a dozen capacities: educator, dairyman, carpenter, book salesman, retreat leader, teaching center manager, store manager, construction supervisor, choir director, discussion leader, lecturer, organic farmer, and chant leader. He is the author of one other book, The Intuitive Gardener: The Man Behind Ananda's Meditation Retreat Garden, Santa Cruz: Blue Bone Books, 2020. He shares a home with his wife Nayaswami Lahari Elizabeth, in the Palo Alto, California, Ananda Community.
