Margaret P. Moss, PhD, JD, RN, FAAN, is a member of the Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation, Three Affiliated Tribes of North Dakota. She is currently director of the University of British Columbia’s First Nations House of Learning and a tenured associate professor in the Faculty of Applied Science-Nursing. Janice M. Phillips, PhD, RN, CENP, FAAN, is the director of Nursing Research and Health Equity at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and an associate professor at the Rush University College of Nursing.
