Overview"Pluto's energy is extremely potent and powerful. Within Astrology, it is considered to be a ""generational planet"" as it influences both individuals and entire generations. The planet governs our compulsive behavior, all those things we know we shouldn't do but feel compelled to do anyway. It also represents the hidden dimension of our emotional lives, all the parts of ourselves that we'd rather bury in our subconscious. In Healing Pluto Problems, Donna Cunningham explains how Pluto functions in the birth chart and shows how Plutonian problems can manifest. She presents her material with warmth and compassion, without avoiding the tough lessons that Pluto has to offer. She addresses such topics as: guilt, resentment, and fear; emotional secrets and their contribution to self-isolation; incest, abuse, and domestic violence; Pluto and the need for power and control; the psychology of being a victim; death and transformation; and the consequences of avoiding grief. Interested not only in diagnosing Pluto problems, Cunningham also gives us tools for healing those problems--affirmations, flower remedies, exercises for working with the chakras--and shows us how to use Pluto transits for growth." Listed in several Who's Who volumes, she has given seminars around the world and won the prestigious Regulus Award for her contributions to the field at the 1998 United Astrology Congress. She also had a master's degree in social work from Columbia University and over thirty years' experience in counseling people. Donna's title, How to Read Your Astrological Chart, is highly recommended for the intermediate student. She passed away in July of 2017. Gina Rogers was asked to narrate her first audiobook in 2014 after an author overheard her imitating her Bronx-raised mother at a dinner party. While Gina swears her background in musical theater and television acting has in no way prepared her to speak in accents and dialects, her ability to breathe life into characters has taken her a long way in her career as an audiobook narrator. Outside of narration she teaches Zumba(R) fitness classes and enjoys spending time with family and volunteering at local animal shelters. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
