Previously, Wayne was guitarist with The Sisters of Mercy and Dead or Alive, and was one of Pauline Murray's Invisible Girls. Wayne is a vegetarian and a lifelong Liverpool FC supporter, and resides in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The first volume of his autobiography, Salad Daze, was published in 2019.
