J.M. Barlow has always been fascinated by True Crime stories, and had her first true crime book, Too Brief a Candle, published in 2015. She has a degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Michigan, and has been a licensed financial professional since 1982. She is also a certified teacher in secondary education for both Science and TESOL. J.M. has two grown sons and a wonderful grandchild.
