OverviewDaniel MacPherson, the Earl of Hawick, has always been a man caught between worlds-Scottish aristocrat, guarded loner, and keeper of secrets he can never share. When he discovers his true biological father was an Irish Catholic from Belfast, a door opens to a family he never knew existed: the O'Briens of County Clare. Then Airmid Roberts walks into his life. A fiercely independent single mother from Derry with a sharp tongue and a guarded heart, she's the last woman Daniel expected to need-and the last woman he expected to fall for. Thrown together by work that takes them far from home, what begins as reluctant partnership slowly becomes something neither can deny. But Airmid has her own wounds, her own walls. And Daniel has spent a lifetime keeping people at arm's length. As danger circles closer and their lives intertwine, they'll have to decide what they're willing to risk-for the truth, for family, and for a love that could change everything. A sweeping romance about second chances, found family, and learning to trust again. Perfect for fans of Jean Grainger and Tricia O'Malley. I fell hard for this family. Absolutely love her books."" Reader review, 5 stars Author InformationStacey Reynolds started writing her first novel, _Raven of the Sea_, in 2015. She was inspired by the beautiful villages of Ireland's west coast--the traditional music, the architecture, the lighthouses, and crumbling ruins. It lit a spark in her that would smolder for years until she was ready. She was a military wife and mother of 5. With a special needs child at home, she began writing at the public library during her son's therapy sessions. Before she married an officer in the Marines, she was a police officer. Her experience in law enforcement aids her in writing from the perspective of a first responder. It also helps with the procedural aspects of some of her stories. She loves what she does. She finds inspiration through traveling, reading, art, and music. She tries to write with the honest and often raw emotions that come from loving and losing.
