Havana Empire: Blood in the Water

Overview

Book Two of The Caravello Family Saga. In post-1959 Havana, Dominic ""Dom"" Caravello has turned grief into an empire-ports, casinos, favors-kept steady by his brother Enzo and shadowed by an heir learning patience. But in December 1964, Dallas rumors start moving like policy. A CIA rumor-broker and a journalist stitch Havana to Washington's suspicions as security chief Rafael Ortega tightens oversight. When a consolidation play and rival ambition threaten Dom's throne, Dom answers with deniable counterstrikes and stricter rules of silence. Then his family becomes leverage, forcing Dom, nightclub queen Isabela Cruz, and PR architect Helena Kline into a hunt where every call and receipt can become evidence. As U.S. politics heats toward 1968, one public shock could turn rumor into warrants-and make Havana the next battleground.
