He has written books on a wide variety of topics and eras ranging from history and wildlife to the paranormal. His previously published works include Age of the Gladiators and The Battle of Crecy: A Campaign of Context as well as seven books in the Pitkin Haunted series including Haunted York and Haunted Edinburgh.He is a member of the Society of Paranormal Research and currently lives in Epsom, Surrey.
