Author Information

Connie Kingrey Anderson writes middle grade mysteries, interactive chapter books, and scripts. She began her career at Turner Broadcasting in Atlanta and then ran an independent film/video company in L.A. where she received a Saturn Award. Creepers Mysteries: Haunted Cattle Drive was first distributed by Good Housekeeping Kids/Dominium Entertainment/K-Tel and won an Audie Award (writer/producer) from the Audio Publishers Association. She created audio-based drama kits and mystery party games that were sold to schools and after-school programs in the U.S. and to military bases worldwide. She has an MFA in Drama from the University of Georgia, and a B.A. in Theatre from the University of Minnesota. She taught at The Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis and founded the Middle Grade Writers Group. She lives in Minnesota with her husband and furry friends.
