Author Information

Wendy J. English grew up in Leominster, Massachusetts, and graduated from Massachusetts College of Art with a B.F.A. in illustration. After a series of fortunate circumstances, she landed a job as an illustrator with Hallmark Cards, Inc., in Kansas City, Missouri, where she was happily employed for 38 years. She and her husband, Mark, raised two lovely daughters, Emily and Sarah, in the Kansas City area. After retiring, she moved to Lenexa, Kansas, where she now lives with her geriatric English bulldog, Dudley. ""Hattie's Slightly-Larger-Than-Average-Sized Head"" is her debut book.
