OverviewHarry's Christmas is a touching story of a little handicapped spider who learns the true meaning of Christmas from another of God's creations, a simple little flower. The story begins with a depressed Santa who is reading many of the letters sent from boys and girls requesting specific gifts that they would like to be given on Christmas morning. He is sad and explains to his head elf, Elfie, that it seems as if the children only want more and more gifts and are not thankful for the many gifts they receive each year. Elfie tries to comfort Santa and comes up with a plan that may brighten up the unhappy Santa. Elfie plans to travel to a place where he can find children who know the true meaning of Christmas and report back to Santa that those children still exist. Santa is encouraged but reminds him that he must make haste because Christmas eve is that night. In Elfie's short trip, he is not able to find any children who show that they understand what Christmas is all about. Instead, he finds children who are greedy and selfish, as in many of the letters Santa has read. Before his return to the North Pole, Elfie sees a strange sight. He sees a simple red flower talking to a little black spider who is shaking ""Jingle Bells"" from around his neck on a string. He hears Harry, the spider, explain to Petunia, the flower, why he is trying to let Santa know that he celebrates Christmas and is looking forward to Santa's visit. In this strange but moving story, Harry learns about the greatest gift that was given on Christmas and discovers that Christmas is not a gift you receive, but the love that God has given. 2 Full Product DetailsAuthor: Lucy Davila Hakemack, PhDPublisher: Covenant Books Imprint: Covenant Books Dimensions: Width: 20.30cm , Height: 0.30cm , Length: 25.40cm Weight: 0.118kg ISBN: 9798894851464Pages: 36 Publication Date: 26 September 2025 Recommended Age: From 2 to 10 years Format: Paperback Publisher's Status: Active Availability: Available To Order We have confirmation that this item is in stock with the supplier.
