Author Information

Jill K. Sattler currently resides in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and two feline assistants. Through the Ireland Program at The Evergreen State College, Jill has studied Ireland's rich history and language, first hand. On her first trip over to Ireland, This story was written while attending an Irish fiddle workshop, led by Mick Brown. Jill has an MFA degree from the Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, OR. Since graduation she has been persuing illuminated constructions, experimental animation and is currently teaching watercolor techniques and knotwork construction. During the summer months she teaches experimental watercolor at The Evergreen State College, Olympia WA.
