Author Information

Lorena Peimbert studied Pedagogy at the Universidad Panamericana and became an English teacher in 1995, specializing in early childhood stimulation, learning disabilities, psycho motor skills and logic-mathematical thinking. With more than 19 years of experience in teaching and working in schools, she now trains teachers, and writes in collaboration with Macmillan. Diana Jones has extensive background in developing teacher training courses and language courses for different levels and age groups. For more than 25 years she was the head of the Language Department of a prominent language institute in Mexico. She now works as an author of Teacher's Guides for a number of Macmillan series, where she is co-author of the Teacher's Guide for I'm Ready 1, a series developed for the Education ministry in Mexico, and three Real World readers for Take Shape, a primary series by Macmillan. Annette Flavel studied Education at the University of Adelaide and has worked as a teacher, teacher trainer, and materials writer at all levels from preschool to young adult in Australia, England, Japan, USA, and Mexico.
