Aiza Abid (she/her) is a passionate advocate for children's rights and one of Canada's Top 100 Most Powerful Women. In her role leading Youth Engagement initiatives, Aiza empowers young people to shape the issues that matter most to them. Aiza is also the founder of the Children's Rights Club, a global initiative dedicated to advancing and protecting the rights and freedoms of all children. Currently a PhD candidate at the University of Toronto, her research explores the critical role of play for children recovering in post-crisis contexts. Across her work, Aiza is committed to creating spaces where young people can realize their rights, exercise their agency, and drive meaningful change.
