Notable topics added to the twenty-fourth edition include updated unemployment projections through 2029 and extensive information on the impact of COVID-19 on the workforce. As in previous editions, information is displayed in a user-friendly format with supporting text and bulleted lists of highlights for each general heading. Although the raw statistical data is available directly from the Bureau of Labor Statistics website, there is value added by the print-based version in its convenience, ease of use, and helpful narratives that place the statistics in both relative and historical context.-- 10/1/2021

Mary Meghan Ryan is a senior research editor for Bernan Press. She is also the editor for Employment, Hours, and Earnings: States and Areas; and co-editor for County and City Extra and Places, Towns and Townships.
