Bryant, MD, is Professor of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, at the University of Louisville and the healthcare epidemiologist at Norton Children's Hospital. She is President-Elect of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society and the PIDS liaison to the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America Board of Trustees. Since December 2016, she has served as a member of the Healthcare Infection Control Practices Advisory Committee (HICPAC), a federal advisory committee that provides advice and guidance to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding strategies for surveillance and prevention and control of healthcare-associated infections in United States health care facilities. Judith A. Guzman-Cottrill, DO, is Professor of Pediatrics, Division of Infectious Disease, at the Oregon Health & Science University and an infection prevention and healthcare epidemiology consultant for the Oregon Health Authority's HAI Program, where she serves as the Medical Director for Ebola and Emerging Pathogen Preparedness.
