OverviewNeurofeedback refers to a type of biofeedback that uses brain waves to teach self-control of brain activities and then provides a feedback signal. Brainwave activity is recorded through electrodes, and feedback on brain functioning is delivered. Neurofeedback rewards healthy brainwave activity over unhealthy activity, which results in decreasing undesirable behavior and symptoms.
