He was previously an Assistant Professor in the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Bartin University, Turkey. He earned a PhD at the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, India. He is the first recipient of the prestigious Powder Metallurgy Student of the Year Award by the Powder Metallurgy Association of India for 2015 at IIT Bombay. He was awarded the prestigious Young Scientist 2020 Award at the Fourth International Scientist Awards ceremony on engineering, science, and medicine in Chennai, India. He is listed in the top 2% of scientists in the world for 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023, as reported by Stanford University, USA, and published by Elsevier. He was awarded third place for the project competition in the Fifth R&D Project Market held in Turkey in 2022. He is experienced in preparing nano-structured stainless-steel powders, high entropy alloys, and shape memory alloys by the mechanical alloying method.
