A renowned bariatric and laparoscopic surgeon, she is associated with Saifee, Namaha, and Apollo group of hospitals in Mumbai, India. Dr. Bhasker has received numerous accolades, including the prestigious IFSO Travelling Scholarship in 2008 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is a prolific author with several international publications, book chapters, and books to her credit including, Handbook of Bariatric Nutrition and Management of Nutritional and Metabolic Complications of Bariatric Surgery. Her work highlights the critical role of nutrition and comprehensive aftercare in improving outcomes for post-bariatric surgery patients. Dr. Bhasker is a sought-after faculty member at national and international conferences and has trained surgeons and nutritionists globally. Since 2020, she has served as the Course Director of the Advanced Bariatric Nutrition Course.
