Patrick Sherriff spent 13 years working for newspapers in the US, UK and Japan. Now, between writing and illustrating books for non-native speakers of English, he publishes Hana Walker mystery novels, short stories, essays and colouring books. He lives in Abiko, Japan, with his wife and two daughters. He founded the Tower English school with his wife in 2007, where he continues to teach English to adults and children of all ages.
