OverviewThis illustrated bedtime story in verse is for young children aged four to seven. Hana skateboards off for a day out in the park with her close companions JiJi the cat and Sandy the lion cub. While JiJi makes himself dizzy on the roundabout, Sandy gets buried in the sandpit. Meanwhile Hana spies the trapeze and has soon climbed to the top. But she wants to go higher and starts flying through the stratosphere, saying hello to the Moon, Mars and Venus. But as she approaches the Sun, its heat is too much for her. Turning back she finds herself lost in space, but at last sees a gleam in the darkness and in soon on her way back to Earth. When she finally returns she is nowhere near the park - nor even the UK. She has landed in Fiji and makes friends with Lori, the parrot. Luckily she has her mobile in her dinosaur bag and is able to call JiJi and Sandy. Her friends have organised a search party and even gone on television for their Little Girl Lost campaign. When Hana arrives at Heathrow she is greeted by thousands of wellwishers.- and of course Mum and Dad, not forgetting JiJi and Sandy.
