OverviewThe title Hacked. Screwed. Gone. may appear to be a little crass, but the title clearly describes a hacker's perspective. I hack you. You are screwed. Then I'm gone, and you get to clean up the mess and deal with the consequences. This book helps a Board, CEO, or senior executive exercise governance and oversight over a comprehensive information security approach for their organization. The book is rich in stories and anecdotes that look behind the headlines... and how executives can minimize the likelihood their organization will be 'hacked'. If you read only one book on cybersecurity this year, this should be it. HSG exposes the truth of how vulnerable most corporate networks are, how best to mitigate these vulnerabilities strategically and enterprise-wide, and how to get started right away. - Phil DeFronzo, Chief Executive Officer, Norwich Commercial Group, Inc. & Norcom Mortgage HSG is clearly written and effectively covers the cybersecurity governance and oversight responsibilities of a board and CEO. The book has many examples, analogies and anecdotes to deliver the content quickly and effectively. The executive level viewpoint balances governance, strategy and technical details in an understandable format. - Andrew J. Ward, Principal (retired), Big 4 Independent CPA Firm At some point, hackers will inevitably target your organization. The only question is whether or not you'll be prepared. Filled with firsthand stories and practical application, HSG is the very best book on cyber security I've ever read. As an executive and true expert in enterprise risk management, Jim Deitch makes complex information understandable and actionable. Your security is too important to miss out on reading this timely book! - Peter Greer, President and Chief Executive Officer, HOPE International HSG discusses all the major types of cyber threats facing organizations today as they continue to grow in volume and sophistication. It also examines many recent high profile cyberattacks -Sony, Target, Home Depot, OPM and others-in detail and provides an analysis of how they happened and how they could have been prevented. - Nathan Burch, President and Founder, McLean Mortgage Corporation Full Product DetailsAuthor: Jim DeitchPublisher: Createspace Independent Publishing Platform Imprint: Createspace Independent Publishing Platform Dimensions: Width: 15.20cm , Height: 1.20cm , Length: 22.90cm Weight: 0.308kg ISBN: 9781523894727ISBN 10: 1523894725 Pages: 228 Publication Date: 13 February 2016 Audience: General/trade , General Format: Paperback Publisher's Status: Active Availability: Available To Order ![]() We have confirmation that this item is in stock with the supplier. Jim has been a director of both publicly traded and privately-owned banks and lenders through some very interesting times. Jim's experience in residential mortgage banking for the last three decades on a retail, wholesale and correspondent basis led to an intense desire to learn about how technology could be applied to financial institutions. His experience includes multi-channel loan origination and sales management, mortgage product design, credit policy, hedging, securitization and loan servicing, and his beginning to end experience - and his love of high performance aircraft -- has fueled his need for speed in applying technology to mortgage banking. He has served on the Mortgage Bankers Association Residential Board of Governors and served on CEO panelist and speaker for major financial institutions, financial industry associations, corporate clients, the Department of Defense and universities. Jim is a thought leader and has published numerous articles in the industry publications. Jim lives in Naples, Florida. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
