Overview

Habitat, by Rafael Primot, is a play that intertwines the lives of three main characters: a reporter, a supermarket manager, and a security guard, and their reactions and motivations after the cruel murder of a dog in the outside area of a large supermarket. The play addresses a very topical and important subject: the witch hunt that begins in the virtual world and extends to the real world. We are inundated with information, including fake news, and human beings seem to be returning to the Stone Age: they are violent, they attack each other, they point the finger at the culprits, who they then stone on social networks. The virtual wall is frequently broken down, and this behavior invades reality. The internet and its universe bring us countless benefits but also side effects, the biggest of which may be the propensity for impulsive behavior.
