"John Cockroft is the father of four boys. His youngest was the inspiration for Guvor. This is the first in a series on Guvor's Great Discoveries. John has published self-help and variety books and is releasing his first novel in a series in 2016. He is also an independent movie actor with his two oldest sons. John enjoys drawing and decided to use cut outs of his illustrations in a ""flannel graph"" style of illustration that reminded him of Sunday school stories when he was Guvor's age."
