Author Information

"Eric Gelb is a director, producer and performer of musical theatre based out of New York City. A self-proclaimed ""jack of all trades"", Eric co-produced and directed his first original musical when he was just thirteen years old. Eric has entertained young children in their homes and at libraries as fairytale characters with Magical Memories Entertainment, a character company he co-owns and on the web as a student blogger and editor at the Performing Arts Camp Camp Broadway. He has served as an intern for playwright Maggie Keenan-Bolger on her many readings and Seth Rudetsky (DISASTER! Off-Broadway), as well as for several other shows and theatrical organizations in the city. His book ""Growing Up in the Wings"" is available on Amazon for kids who love the theatre but have no idea where to go. Eric is a 2017 TEDxBroadway Young Professional and a current student at New York University's Steinhardt School, within the Music and Performing Arts Professions' program in Educational Theatre. He can be seen onstage and backstage at shows throughout Manhattan (Recent: Music Man, James and the Giant Peach, Two Weeks with the Queen). He firmly believes in the magical, transformative and valuable stories that the theatre tells, and is honored to get to tell them to the world. Twitter: @DirectorGelb. www.bit.ly/ericgelbofficial"
