Growing Respect teaches children ages 4-12 the value of RESPECT in storybook format with coloring pages, activities, and discussion questions. Riley's anger results in disrespecting people and things. He is challenged by the school's resource officer to think about his hurtful actions. He makes positive choices and follows through on an apology and restitution as he grows the seed of RESPECT. This storybook and activity book is part of The Kids' Green Pepper Project series. Author Sheila Jones teaches Core Values using a green pepper with its many seeds representing Core Values, such as honesty, respect and encouragement. Some seeds can be planted and grown.
