"Eating fruit is good for you and an essential part of your ""five a day."" Growing your own is even better. The perfect companion book to Grow Your Own Vegetables, (which sold 6,500 copies in its first two months of publication), Grow Your Own Fruit is the second offering from Carol Klein, who once again offers impeccable advice on growing the freshest, most nutritious and organic fruit. Author Information

Best-known as co-presenter of BBC's Gardeners' World, Carol Klein is an internationally renowned gardener. Manchester-born Carol moved to Devon in the late 1970s with her two daughters. She started propagating plants because she couldn't afford to buy the ones she wanted for her own garden. Friends suggested she sell the spares, so Carol opened a stall in the local market, and eventually she opened her own nursery. Carol has designed four commercial show gardens at Chelsea, winning five Chelsea gold medals. She has presented several gardening shows since her television debut on Gardeners' World in 1989, including Life in a Cottage Garden, Plant Odysseys and Great British Gardens. Carol also writes regularly for Gardeners World magazine, House & Garden and is a frequent contributor to the Sunday Mirror gardening section. In November 2019 Carol was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Garden Media Guild Awards. Her books include RHS Grow Your Own Veg which sold more than 150,000 copies as tracked by Nielsen TCM.
