There is so much more to grief than just stages. Grief is an awkward, painful, and chaotic journey through an emotional, spiritual, psychological, physical, and intellectual roller coaster that can take us to places within our interior that we didn't know even existed. So often we feel lost, not only from trying to cope with the loss of a loved one, abilities, or lifestyle but struggle to find the best way to maneuver through all the side effects, complications and emotional turmoil inside the grief journey. At the end of each chapter, a verse in Scripture is provided, offering God's own handwritten assurance that God is present and is with you every step of the way.
