Overview

Suzie Bellesis experienced a great deal of grief throughout 2024 and 2025. However, through the storms of despair came hope anew with the birth of a new child. This collection of poems is a reflection of the juxtaposition of gratitude and grief, finding the things in life that are worth being thankful for amongst a time of hardships.

Suzie Bellesis is a poet, musician, and works in ministry with the United Church of Christ. They were born in Sterling, Massachusetts. They have their Bachelors of Music degree in Music Education with a concentration in the violin from Gordon College. Suzie received from the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, a Masters of Divinity and a Graduate Certificate in Urban Ministry. Suzie has been writing poetry since adolescence, partaking in many local writing and poetry groups in the greater Worcester area of Massachusetts.
