She is Vice-Director of the Vienna Doctoral School of Philosophy and Key Investigator in the Austrian Excellence Cluster ""Knowledge in Crisis"". She has also led the project “New Directions in Plant Ethics” and the Interdisciplinary Research Platform “Nano Norms Nature"". She holds frequent lectures on ethics, political philosophy, environmental ethics and introduction to practical philosophy. Her research focuses on political philosophy, foundations of ethics, ehtics of nature and climate ethics. Her recent publications include a book on the foundation of ethics in comparison to the capacities of animals (Der Mensch. Das moralische Tier, Suhrkamp 2022), a book on climate justice (Climate Justice and Collective Action, Routledge 2021) and numerous articles on the ethics of war, ethics of nature and public goods. Eva Liedauer is assistant at the Chair of Ethics with Special Emphasis on Applied Ethics at the University of Vienna. As a PhD candidate, her research is on Hannah Arendt's theory of judgement, Arendt's theory of the political and philosophical approaches to money.
