These records offer tombstone inscriptions for 44 cemeteries located in Greene County, Tennessee, providing the names, relations, and dates of birth and death for former residents. A full-name index is given at the beginning of this work. This volume contains tombstone inscriptions for virtually every cemetery in Greene County, Tennessee. Because these records were compiled at the beginning of the 20th Century, tombstones mounted after the 1930s are not included in this volume.
