The ancient wizard, however, disappoints them. He is sick and cannot help them. None of his students offers to help except Tito, the youngest wizard of them all. Is Tito up to the job? Poor Tito! He wants to help so badly! He chants his magic spells and twirls and swirls his magic wand. He taps his feet and rolls on the ground. He does everything he can to make his magic work as the anxious townspeople look on in anticipation. His magic works all right; it makes things worse in Madwacky. The townspeople are scared and losing faith in Tito. Is there something he can do to set things right? When Tito discovers the answer, everyone in town - especially Tito - learns an important lesson about magic. This is a delightful story that begs to be read aloud.
