Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationProf. Locatelli is Associate Professor in Analytical Chemistry and his research activity is aimed at the development and validation of chromatographic methods for the qualitative and quantitative determination of biologically active molecules in human and animal, cosmetics, food, and environmental complex matrices. These procedures have been applied to different analytes and drug associations also finding application in clinical and pre-clinical studies, to characterize new delivery systems of the active principle to improve their pharmacological properties. In the development of the method are predictive models and chemometrics applied both for the optimization of extraction protocols and for final data processing. Particular attention is given to innovative (micro)-extraction techniques and new instrumental configurations for the quantitative analysis of complex matrices. Prof. Fotouh R. Mansour is a distinguished researcher in life sciences, specializing in drug and toxin analysis. With over 120 publications in top-tier journals, his work has significantly impacted the scientific community, achieving a total impact factor exceeding 300 and more than 1950 citations. Recognized as one of the top 10 researchers in pharmaceutical analytical chemistry, Prof. Mansour has received numerous prestigious awards, including the University Encouragement Award (2017), the State Encouragement Award (2019), and the Best Scientific Research Award from ACDIMA (2021). Named among the World's Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University in 2021, his innovative research has also been celebrated through multiple postgraduate awards under his supervision. Prof. Mansour's accolades include the Shield of Excellence (2005) and the Medal of Merit (2009) from the Egyptian Syndicate of Pharmacists, and the International Publication Award from Tanta University (2014-2024). Additionally, his participation in the Royal Academy of Engineering's Leaders in Innovation Fellowship Program, where he secured second place, underscores his ongoing commitment to advancing scientific research and innovation. Alaa Bedair is defending her Ph.D. thesis in Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry. She earned her BSc in Clinical Pharmacy from Tanta University in 2017 with an excellent grade and a GPA of 3.91, ranking second in her class. Alaa completed her Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry at Tanta University in 2021 and began her Ph.D. studies in June 2022. She has published over 20 articles in high-impact journals, primarily Q1 and Q2. Alaa served as a teaching assistant at the University of Sadat City from 2018 to 2021 and has been an assistant lecturer there since 2021. Her accolades include the Best Scientific Research Article award from ACDIMA in 2021, recognition for top-cited and most downloaded papers from Wiley International, and the International Publication Award from the University of Sadat City from 2021 to 2024.
