Dr. Syeed SaifulAzry Osman Al-Edrus is the Director of the Institute of Ecosystem Science Borneo, Universiti Putra Malaysia (Sarawak Campus). He is also a senior research officer in the Laboratory of Biocomposite Technology (Biocomposite), Institute of Tropical Forestry and Forest Products (INTROP), Universiti Putra Malaysia. His research interests include wood composites, nanocellulose, and nano-biocomposites. Previously, Dr. Syeed has been actively involved in numerous biocomposites projects at the university.   Dr. Lee is a senior lecturer at the Department of Wood Industry, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Universiti Teknologi MARA Pahang Branch. His research interests include wood composites, wood treatments, wood adhesives, and polymers. He has published several articles in these areas and is actively involved in various projects related to biocomposites. Dr. Juliana is a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering Technology, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), Johor. Her research areas primarily include natural fibers, wood composites, polymers, and furniture design. She has published several articles on wood and non-wood composites as well as textiles. Currently, she is involved in natural fiber projects funded by the Malaysian Timber Industry Board (MTIB) and UTHM. Dr. Norfaryanti Kamaruddin is a senior researcher at the Laboratory of Sustainable Bioresource Management, Institute of Tropical Forestry and Forest Products (INTROP), Universiti Putra Malaysia. She holds a B.Sc. in Bioindustry, majoring in Agricultural Economics, and an M.Sc. in Agribusiness. She earned her Ph.D. in the industrial strategy of agribusiness corporations. She is a team member of the Center of Excellence (CoE) for Biomass Valorization, CIRAD-INTROP. Her research interests include corporate network analysis, bioresource management, and techno-economic assessment of the wood-based industry. Dr. Nur Izzah Nabilah Haris is an academician and researcher specializing in advanced material, environment, and electrochemical engineering. Holding a Ph.D. in chemical engineering, she serves as a senior lecturer at Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia. Prof. Dr. Paridah Md Tahir is a senior researcher at the Institute of Tropical Forestry and Forest Products (INTROP), Universiti Putra Malaysia. She also serves as the lab advisor at INTROP. Her research interests include wood adhesives and finishing, biocomposites, and wood and fiber sciences. She has published several book chapters and articles on these topics and is actively involved in national projects related to natural fiber products. Her previous projects focused on lignocellulosic composites, and she has also participated in international projects on the development of green binders from tannins.
