Previously, he was a senior official at the World Bank, Chief Economist of the US Agency for International Development, and Special Advisor at the WTO. He also served as a development advisor to governments and international organizations on international trade, finance, and development. Most recently he was appointed Senior Advisor at the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy, in Athens, Greece.
