She has had the opportunity to work with great online education companies, such as New Oriental, Lingo Ace, and Zuoye. Jinyue loves to create illustrations for children’s books and book covers, commercial promotion, postcards, and more. As a digital artist, Jinyue uses Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Procreate to develop illustrations with simple outlines and rich pencil textures. Jinyue’s main sources of inspiration are fairy tales, myths, and ancient western poems. Mai Ngo is a freelance book illustrator by day, qualified cat servant by night since 2018.
