This is a fun, comforting tale through pictures and rhymes. To help young children find peace, knowing loved ones are always nearby, having adventures along the way. After my dad passed away, I found it hard to explain to my 3-year-old son where grandad had gone. I started saying the generic ""Grandads in the sky now"" my son's response was ""is grandad on the moon"" at that moment my story was born. As I aimed my book at younger children, I wanted to make the book fun and not focus so much on death itself. My son used to tell me things his grandad was doing on the moon. I knew I had to incorporate his ideas into this book. A three-year-olds imagination, along with rhymes and bright pictures, makes it a perfect book for our youngest readers."

"Emma Palacios is an author/illustrator from Hastings in England. Two little ones, two step children, along with a husband, keep her busy when she's not drawing.Illustrations are Emma's specialty. Upon leaving school, she pursued a first and national diploma in art and design.It was only after her dad passed away in 2022 when she picked back up her pens. That's when ""Grandad on the moon"" was born."
