Die Autorin wurde am 15.05.1980 in Antalya, Turkei geboren. Sie studierte an der Uni Wien Geschichte und schloss mit ausgezeichneten Noten ab. Seit 2014 studiert sie Islamische Geschichte an der Uni Dicle, Turkei. Ihre Dissertation untersucht offene Ausbildungsinstitute im Islam und im Christentum. Sie ist verheiratet und hat zwei Kinder.
