Love it! Super cute little book that's awesome for reading to kids before bedtime. -Christopher Smead, Outmersive Films. Something has gone TERRIBLY WRONG, and Gracie is in quite a predicament. The first in her new series, author Violet Favero chronicles the R.V. adventures of Silly Yaya and the MIS-adventures of her lovable traveling canine companion, Gracie. In a style reminiscent of the popular kid's books I loved while growing up back in the '60s, Gracie's RV Mis-Adventures is just plain fun -- and educational. Throughout the book's delightful 70 illustrated pages, readers enjoy a back seat glimpse of Yaya and Gracie's lively cross-country R.V. excursion. The book is also packed with interesting fun facts about each state in which Gracie and Yaya traveled. There's even a glossary of terms in the back! Gracie's Mis-Adventure is a terrific first chapter book for any young child, and now thanks in part to the charming storyline and illustrations, our granddaughter, Charlie, has quickly learned to identify chapter captions and numbers, titles, and punctuation marks such as question marks and exclamation points, used throughout to highlight Gracie's nervous, excitable temperament - she VIBRATES!! - a useful tool as young readers learn how characters (even best-dog friends!) express themselves with excitement and anticipation when they, too, question and examine their environment and daily routines. Meanwhile, there is a fun conflict story running throughout the book that is resolved in the end. This Gigi highly recommends Gracie as a gift or addition to your library, as well as all of the other (picture) books that Silly Yaya has written and illustrated.- 5 Star Review
