OverviewGrace for Life is an exposition of chapter two of Paul's letter to Titus. It is basically a call to Titus to teach the various groups represented in the church, namely, older men and women, younger women and men, ministers of the gospel like Titus, and bondservants to rise to the occasion and display character, conduct, and functions that corresponded to their age, experience, sex and callings in life. Crucially he motivates such conduct because of the appearance of the grace of God upon all men. Paul seems to be saying that grace has the capacity to teach all men to deny ungodliness and worldly lives and live sober, godly, and righteous lives, as well as to empower ministers like him and the older women, both of whom have the responsibility to effectively disciple others and movel the Christian life. Futhermore, Titus and everyone in the church must be motivated to pursue this conduct because the grace that previously appeared to sanctify and empower the saints will also appear to glorify those who zealously do good works.
