Overview

Starting with the Bible and using latter-day verse to clarify and strengthen the Biblical teachings on the subjects of grace and works, this effort endeavors to provide the reader with a fresh and independent look at the relationship of Grace to Works. It undertakes to answer how each is a necessary and complimentary component toward the goal of achieving exaltation. This book organizes many of the various scattered scriptural teachings on the subjects of Grace and Works, which by themselves today may confuse rather than depict fully what the inspired authors then wrote and intended at that time for their select audiences.

Author Information

Dennis Doddridge was raised in several of the Protestant religions. His father, Fredrick, freelanced part time as an independent minister, preaching what today would be regarded as Evangelical. When Dennis was about twelve years old, he with his family converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Dennis served a successful two and one half year mission to Germany in the West German Mission, and has since filled many different Church positions. Dennis confesses to be a bit of a non-conformist in his thinking as some of his writings will bear out. Now semi-retired, he enjoys studying, writing and tinkering in his shop.
