He has worked on climate change issues for over 16 years as a researcher, consultant and activist and is author of Climate for Change (CUP, 2000) and co-author (with Matthew Paterson) of Climate Capitalism (CUP, 2010). Harriet Bulkeley is a Reader at the Department of Geography at Durham University. Her research interests are in the nature and politics of environmental governance with a focus on climate change and urban sustainability. She is co-author (with Michele Betsill) of Cities and Climate Change (2003), and currently holds an ESRC Climate Change Leadership Fellowship.
