OverviewThis book discusses the use of Google Earth as a methodological procedure in the teaching and learning process of geography education with students in the second cycle of primary education at the Caetano de Campo State School, carried out in the first semester of 2013. The popularisation and dissemination of software that addresses geographical information are increasingly present in Brazilian public schools and, consequently, demand new skills from both teachers and students. Thus, the objectives of this research are linked to the role of the computer, through the mosaic of satellite images of different landscapes at various scales and time frames present in Google Earth software, as a teaching and media resource in the teaching and learning process in geography.
