Goodnight British Columbia

Overview

Tucked up in my cozy bed, My favourite jammies on. Big kisses to beautiful B.C. Before all the daylight is gone. All across British Columbia, people and animals are finishing up their days. See the orcas jumping high, the moose walking in water, hockey players at the arena, and the growly grizzlies eating berries and fish. Enjoy the Northern Lights and all they have to offer and say goodnight to the four corners of the province. Goodnight British Columbia is a delightful rhyming book that teaches young children about the natural world. Travel through British Columbia to see unique and interesting animals and people native to the province, then wish them all a very good night.

Author Information

Niki Dorman loves to travel. Every place she goes, she brings a book back for her daughter. But Niki realized that while her daughter knew all about the wider world, she didn't have any books set in her home of British Columbia. Inspired to write her own bedtime book, Niki filled it with all of her favourite places from around the province, many of which she's been to or seen firsthand. Niki is originally from Cloverdale, but she lives in Fort St John, B.C., with her husband, daughter, and their dog.
